Tau Chi - 2017 Events

Typically we have two events per month, a Boys-R-Us dinner and the enfemme chapter meeting. Occasionally during the year special events are also scheduled like Elegant Ladies Night Out (an evening on the town where you can dress to the nines) and Guys and Dolls (a birth gender dressed evening at a venue where better attire is expected). Throughout the year have a mixture of events that take place at various business locations in the Houston area. Many of our dressing events are held after normal business hours and not open to the public.

If you would like to see what we did last year, check out our 2016 calendar.

Below is a brief description of our plans for the year.
- The first item is our Boys-R-Us dinner.
- The second is our chapter meeting.

Look at what you are missing out on by not being a member of Tau Chi!

Past 2017 Events
January
What New Year's diet? We had eleven members carry on the tradition of enjoying the first Boys-R-Us of the year with Italian food.
We had fifteen members participate in our annual Pledge Ceremony this month. A great reminder that the three "S"es of Tri-Ess stand for Serenity, Support and Service... to ourselves and our sisters.

February
We started the year with twelve members rolling out some barrels of fun and enjoying Polish food for our February Boys-R-Us.
What else would we plan for this month but our annual Sweetheart Dinner and rose ceremony? No sweetheart? No problem! Several "uncoupled" members were among our fifteen attending that evening.

March
We had sixteen members "Catch" a great time at our Boys-R-Us this month as we visited one of the area's best Seafood establishments.
With Spring (and summer) upon us, we had fourteen members enjoy shopping for some new outfits at our own private shopping trip

Not even Houston's April showers stopped sixteen members from enjoying Asian food at our Boys-R-Us this month.
Whether you spell it Bunko or Bunco, we had thirteen members rolling dice for fun and prizes as we enjoyed a game night.

May
Extra event - We had 10 members from several chapters set sail as, after a brief hiatus, Dignity Cruises hit the high seas again! Time to start planning for next year.

We had seven members who don't speak Greek, but did enjoy eating it for our Boys-R-Us this month.
With some of our members out at sea, we had six enjoy more personal attention from a local makeup stylist.

June
I can't believe we made it half the year before seventeen of our members met to enjoy company and conversation at one of our favorite Mexican spots for Boys-R-Us.
Heading into the hotter months of the year this was a great time for sixteen of our members to get some new makeup tips and photos.

We had a pair as nine members also made some bling for Spring at our jewelry making class this month (ok, I know it's going into Fall, but that didn't rhyme).

October
Even though Oktoberfest starts in September, we had eleven members celebrate with our Boys-R-Us featuring German food.
What else goes with October? How about sixteen of our members and our first ever costume party.

November
Extra event - We had seven fair maidens go Medieval as they spent the day at the Texas Renaissance Festival.

With no shortage of great Mexican food in Houston, we had thirteen members at our Boys-R-Us this month.
